"Packaging was a letdown"
I’ll admit I’m kind of picky about packaging, especially with something like a battery, but this showed up in a beaten-up box with almost no padding inside. Maybe the battery itself is fine, but the way it arrived didn’t give me much confidence. Definitely not happy with the packaging.

"Not worth the wait"
Something just felt off about the whole experience. I spent way too much time waiting around, which got really frustrating, and in the end it didn’t feel worth it. I wouldn’t use them again, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to family.

"Pallet arrived in rough shape"
The pallet showed up damaged and looked like it had been handled poorly. If it was just for something non-fragile it might not be a huge deal, but for anything that needs careful shipping, I’d be concerned.

"Said it was in stock, but it wasn’t"
I ordered because the website showed it was in stock, then later got told it wasn’t actually available. Frustrating and a waste of time. They really need to keep the site updated so people aren’t ordering things they can’t send. On top of that, the reminders felt way too aggressive, which just made the whole experience more annoying.

"Maybe Just a Bad Batch, But Too Much Ash for Me"
I bought these from whitehorseenergy.co.uk and, to be honest, the ash levels didn’t really work for me. I seemed to be cleaning the burner a lot more often than I usually would, and it kind of felt like half the bag was ending up in the ash pan. The heat was fine enough, I suppose, but the extra mess made it feel not really worth it. Maybe I just got an unlucky batch, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering again

"Refund took way too long"
I sent the item back and then waited ages for my refund. I had to chase them up twice, and even then the replies were really slow. The whole thing was frustrating, especially with the constant aggressive reminders they kept sending. i wouldn’t use them again.

"Doesn’t Put Out as Much Heat as I Expected"
I’m not sure how to explain it, but the heat output just feels a bit weak. I ended up needing more logs than I thought I would to keep things warm, so it wasn’t quite what I expected.

"Only thing I noticed was how poorly it burned"
I wasn’t really paying attention to much else about it because, all I cared about was whether the wood would burn well. It barely caught and didn’t put out much heat at all. For what I needed it for, it felt like a waste of money.

"Bad first impression"
Not a great first experience. My order turned up late, and the updates were pretty much useless. I ended up having to chase it myself just to find out what was going on, which was really annoying. First impressions matter, and this definitely didn’t feel reliable enough for me.

I was already in a bit of a rush, so having to keep chasing for updates on my delivery made the whole thing even more stressful. No one seemed to clearly explain what was going on, and I still didn’t really know when to expect it. really frustrating and not the level of service I was expecting.

"Too wet to burn properly"
I wasn’t really happy with these logs. They seemed way too wet and literally hissed while burning, plus they gave off more smoke than I’m used to. I checked the moisture level and it was higher than I expected, so they didn’t feel ready to use. For the price, I thought they’d be much drier. I probably wouldn’t order again unless the moisture levels improve.

My order took longer to arrive than I expected, and I didn’t really get many updates along the way. I ended up having to keep checking on it myself, which was frustrating. Maybe this was just my experience, but if the delivery is usually like this, I wouldn’t count on it being quick. Not the absolute worst, but based on the delivery speed alone, it’s 1 star from me

"Not great value for what I needed"
At first the prices seemed alright, so I thought it was worth a try. But after looking around a bit more, I realised I probably could’ve got something better for less elsewhere. Maybe it’s fine if you’re not too bothered about comparing options or just need something quickly, but for what I was after, it didn’t really feel like a bargain. I expected a bit more for the money and probably wouldn’t use them again unless the prices came down quite a lot

"Ordering on my phone was way harder than it should be"
I tried placing an order, but the site was frustrating to use. Compared to other stores I’ve ordered from on my phone, this one felt much clunkier. Pages took a while to load, the menus were confusing, and I kept losing track of where I was. Some buttons didn’t respond properly either, which made checkout feel like a hassle. I ended up giving up before finishing. The site could really use a cleanup.

I was hoping to find some clear info about the green side of things before signing up, but honestly... the site didn’t really convince me!! It was kind of hard to tell what was actually eco-friendly and what was just regular energy stuff dressed up a bit??? If sustainability is a big deal for you, I’m not sure I’d go with them..
